This garden was designed by master gardener Phil Downs to be a beautiful, intensive vegetable garden for the community. His goal was to have the garden bloom all season and be an example of a very attractive garden that can be replicated throughout the city of Flint.

August 14 Work Bee
Weeding and watering... and sprucing up the grounds. Phil and Helen enjoy a moment.
Only a thought, but it would be a good addition for Phil to post a list of the plants and varieties - what works and what doesn't. It would make a valuable tool for next year's garden plan.
